LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP – A residential duplex in the 2000 block of Dorey Street Extension is a total loss following an early-morning fire Wednesday in Lawrence Township.
Fire crews from Lawrence Township, Clearfield, Hyde, Glen Richey, Curwensville, Philipsburg and Columbia fire companies spent several hours fighting the flames.
The two adults and a teen who were living in the building were home when the fire broke out on or near the porch but were able to escape safely.
State police fire marshals are investigating the cause.
