LIMESTONE TOWNSHIP – A Tuesday morning structure fire, which caused an estimated $300,000 in damage, is still under investigation, the Clarion State Police reported.
According to the report, the Ridgway State Police Fire Marshal and the Limestone Township Fire Department investigated the origin and cause of the fire. They said it destroyed a 36-foot by 48-foot wood frame, two-story residential dwelling along Forest Road.
Police indicated that Andrew C. Womeldorf, III, 42 of Mayport, owned the residence. However, they said he was not at home at the time of the fire. They said no injuries were reported.
