– Police reported an incident of driving under the influence along state Route 219 in Horton Township, Elk County. A 44-year-old Ridgway man was observed committing several traffic violations. Troopers conducted a traffic stop and arrested the man for DUI. He was transported for blood testing at the Elk Regional Health Center. Charges will be filed for DUI and related summary violations.
– Police reported an incident of driving under the influence along state Route 948 in Fox Township, Elk County. A 20-year-old Kersey man was stopped for a traffic violation and determined to be driving under the influence. DUI and related charges have been filed.
– Police reported an incident of criminal mischief sometime between approximately 8 a.m. March 1 and 8 a.m. Thursday in Ridgway Township, Elk County. A person(s) intentionally utilized a vehicle to drive over a metal stop sign post at the intersection of Bingham and Grant Roads. The person(s) caused approximately $150 in damage. The incident is still under investigation.
– Police reported an incident of harassment at 6:31 p.m. Friday in Jay Township, Elk County. A 37-year-old Weedville man alleged harassed a 25-year-old Weedville woman by threatening physical contact by raising his fist. The man was issued a non-traffic citation for harassment, which will be filed through district court.
– Police reported an incident of harassment that occurred sometime from 7:30 – 8 p.m. March 3 in Horton Township, Elk County. A known 22-year-old Brockport male subjected a 70-year-old Brockway woman to unwanted physical contact and also cursed at her. The incident is still under investigation.
