State police at Clearfield
- An incident of public drunkenness occurred Sunday on the Old Erie Pike in Boggs Township. During the incident, a 31-year-old West Decatur man was allegedly found sitting along the highway and highly intoxicated. The man was subsequently charged with public drunkenness, state police said.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about an alleged disorderly male on Leonard Street.
- Police received a report about an alleged theft that occurred on Wrigley Street.
- Police received a report about a civil issue at an Old Town Road business.
- Police received a report about an alleged theft that turned out to be a civil issue. Police directed the person to the magistrate’s office.
- Police assisted a resident who had lost his wallet in the Tipton area.
- Police received a report about an alleged domestic dispute in the Glen Richey area.
- Police located a suspicious vehicle in the Hillsdale area.
Curwensville Borough
- Police received a report about people parking on the sidewalk along Filbert Street. Motorists will be cited for the violation.
- Police arrested a Curwensville man for an alleged DUI on Saturday morning.
Sandy Township
- On Friday a 33-year-old South Eighth Street man alleged that an unknown man broke into his apartment and assaulted him. The incident remains under investigation, police said.
- Police responded to the area of Morningside Cemetery for an alleged suspicious man in camo clothing on Friday. Police located the man and handled the situation without incident.
- A South Eighth Street resident alleged that shortly after hearing strange noises in the hall of her apartment building Friday, her electricity went out. Police said that when she investigated she found someone had turned off her breakers.
- A 29-year-old woman alleged that when she went to get her mail from her previous address Friday someone had taped her mailbox shut.
- On Friday a 48-year-old Treasure Lake woman was allegedly observed under-ringing $227.48 worth of items at Wal-Mart. Charges are currently pending, police said.
- A Tyrone woman reported finding a dog in Philipsburg, and when she got a hotel in the area she called police to pick it up. The dog is Bulldog and was turned over to dog law, police said.
- On Saturday an 18-year-old Brockway man alleged that his Jeep had broken down the night before. Further, he had left it parked in the DuBois Mall parking lot. However, he told police that when he and his father returned for the Jeep it was gone. Upon investigation police located it in the muddy area behind Lowe’s where it was disabled. The man allegedly confessed that he had been driving through the mud when it got stuck and he was afraid to tell his father. Charges for false reports have been filed against the man, police said.
- A 31-year-old Falls Creek woman alleged that someone hit and damaged her vehicle in the DuBois Mall parking lot on Saturday.
- Police received a third-party report about an alleged domestic dispute on Saturday. When police located the 32-year-old woman who was the alleged victim she stated she and her boyfriend had a fight but she was fine. The situation was handled without incident, police said.
- A 56-year-old Treasure Lake man alleged that while he was running on Settlement Point Road on Sunday he was approached by an aggressive dog on two, separate occasions. Police located the dog’s owner and handled the situation without incident.
