Clearfield Borough
- Police responded to an act of criminal mischief along Clearfield St. The victim chose not to press charges on the known actor.
- Police received a report of a yellow vehicle driving recklessly on W Front St. The vehicle was GOA.
- Police responded to an E Market St address for a parking complaint.
- Police responded to a Dorey St apartment building for a report of a mental health call. It was reported that an elderly male was walking into apartments and wondering the halls yelling for people that didn’t exist. Crisis was contacted.
- Police received a report of an assault between 2 juvenile males along Bigler Ave. An investigation is being conducted.
- Officers responded to the Penn Highlands Clearfield Hospital for a report of a patient walk off. It was learned that the patient held an active 302 warrant for harmful threats made towards family. Officers located the male along Merrill St where he was taken into custody and transported back to the hospital.
- Police responded to a 4 person fight near the intersection of Ruch St and N Healey Ave. Upon arrival Officers made contact with 4 males. An investigation is being conducted.
- Police responded to a report of criminal mischief done to a vehicle along Ruch St. Officers responded to the scene and were able to append the actor after a brief foot pursuit. Charges are pending.
- Officers responded to a welfare check along Barclay St. Everything was found to be ok.
- Police received a report that a hanging flower basket was stolen from a porch along Ogden Ave. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Clearfield Borough Police.
- Police received a report of stolen bicycle from a Weaver St address. The bike is described as a white Mongoose with black lettering.
- Officers responded to a S 2nd St residence for a noise complaint.
- Police responded to a reported Hit and Run along W Front St. An investigation is being conducted.
- Officers responded to a verbal domestic at an E Cherry St residence. Both parties were warned for their actions.
- Officers responded to a verbal domestic along S 3rd St. Both parties were warned for their actions.
- Officers received a report of stolen property from the outside of a W Walnut St address. An investigation is being conducted.
- Officers responded to a couch fire outside the rear of a E Locust St residence. An investigation is being conducted.
- Police responded to the Nichols St Bridge for a report of a male hanging off the side. The male was warned and advised of the dangers.
- Police responded to a fire alarm at a business along S 2nd St. Upon arrival it was discovered to be a false alarm.
- Police were dispatched for a canoe floating down river while upside down. The canoe was recovered and it is believed that the canoe was unattended.
Decatur Township
- Police were dispatched to a hit and run accident in Houtzdale at the Dollar General store. An unknown vehicle believe to be white caused damage to the driver side rear door of the victim’s car.
- Police handled a harassment by communications call in which the male stated that a female was posting rude comments about him on facebook.
- Police observed a green Kawasaki four wheeler operated on the roadway on Short Street. The male lost control of the four wheeler and overturned. EMS was requested and the male was taken to the hospital for knee pain.
- Police were dispatched to a Houtzdale address in reference to a noise complaint in which a juvenile was playing drums loudly. The call was handled without incident.
- Police were called to check the area of railroad tracks behind NAPA in Philipsburg for a complaint of an intoxicated person on the tracks. The male was located and transported to the county jail for public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
- Police were dispatched to a Six Mile Road address for a report of wires down. They were removed before police arrived.
- Police assisted Clearfield Borough Police in located a stolen vehicle from their jurisdiction. The vehicle was located in Snappy’s Parking lot in Houtzdale.
- Police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Philipsburg-Bigler Highway where two vehicles collided. One person was transported to Clearfield Hospital for injuries.
- Police responded to a Cargo Lane address for a report of a shed door that had been tampered with. Unknown persons tried to gain entry to the shed. Police are providing extra patrols in the area.
- Police were dispatched to a Six Mile Road address for a domestic assault in which a female was found to be injured and bleeding from the mouth. Police are searching for Timothy Hockenberry who has a warrant for his arrest. Anyone with information is asked to contact 911.
- Police responded to the area of Clara and Good Streets for a report of careless driving.
- Police responded to the Harbor Inn for a male who was attempting to buy and sell drugs. Police located the male and discovered he was not attempting to purchase drugs and the incident was a domestic dispute.
- Police responded to a call of harassment. The call was handled without incident.
State Police at Clearfield
- Police investigated a report of criminal trespass on the Shawville-Frenchville Highway on June 21. Two men were involved in a verbal altercation when one actor was found to be trespassing on the victim’s property.
- Police are investigating a report of fraud involving a car for sale on the Altoona Craig’s List site. The investigation is ongoing.
- Police are investigating a theft that occurred between Friday and Saturday on Knepp Road, Bradford Township. Unknown actors store a battery from a gold Ford Explorer belonging to a Bigler man and replaced it with a bad battery. The investigation continues.
- Police are investigating a theft from a motor vehicle that occurred between June 24-25 in a remote area off SR 153, Gulich Township. Unknown actors smashed out the rear window of 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited belonging to a 19 year-old Ginter man, and removed a black tri-fold wallet, driver’s license, credit card, Oakley sunglasses and a phone charges. Estimated value of the stolen property is $200. Anyone with information is asked to call 857-3800.
- Police responded to a domestic incident on Ann Street, Pike Township on Saturday. A verbal argument turned into a physical altercation. Both individuals were cited.
- Police are investigating a theft on Good Street, Houtzdale. A 29 year-old Houtdale woman reported that a purple Princess Diana Bea/ Beanie Baby were stolen from her residence. Anyone with information is asked to call 857-3800.
DuBois City
- Police received a call in reference to harassment by communication at the 100 block of East Scribner Ave. Police spoke with the victim, who advised police that he was receiving harassing text messages from a DuBois Male. The male actor was charged with harassment by communication. No further action required.
- Police responded to the 100 block of West Long Ave., for a report of a female sleeping in the building. Police responded to this location and advised the female that she needed to move along. No further action required.
- Officers were requested to assist DuBois EMS with a patient on North Park Place. The female was transported without incident to Penn Highlands Hospital.
- Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of West Long Avenue to check the welfare of a suspicious male. Officer’s made contact with a individual found to be under the influence of drugs. The male was released to a relative without incident.
- Officers were dispatched to Grove Place for a domestic argument. Officer’s made contact with a female advising that she and her boyfriend had been arguing all day. The male left the residence prior to the Officer’s arrival. Officer’s cleared without incident.
- Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of East Weber Avenue for a domestic disturbance. Officer’s made contact with the couple who had both damaged each other’s property. The male left the residence for the night. Officer’s cleared without further incident.
- Police responded to the 300 block of South Brady Street, for a report of a possible person inside the business. Police arrived on scene and met with the owner of the business. Police searched the building and found this to be a false alarm. No further action required.
- Police responded to the 300 block of South Brady Street, for a report of an assault. When police arrived on scene they met with the victim. The victim advised police, a white female in her 40’s knocked on his door of his residence. When the victim opened the door, he began to speak with the female. The victim invited the female inside the house where she sat down. The female started to asked the victim about some pain medication. When the victim decided to call the Police, the female tackled the victim and they wrestled on the ground for a little while. The female then managed to get up and leave the residence. The victim was not injured and didn’t need medical treatment. Police checked the area for the female, but was unable to locate the female.
- Police responded to North Clark Street, for a report of people making a lot of noise. When police arrived on scene, they spoke with the actors and advised them to keep the noise down. No further action required.
