DuBois City
- Police were dispatched to the 800 block of Beaver Drive for a hold up alarm at a local business. The Officer’s made contact with employee’s upon arriving and it was determined that the alarm was accidentally tripped. Officer’s cleared without incident.
Police received a report of a suspicious female in the 200 block of Morrison Street. The complainant stated that a female had stopped at her residence offering to clean her carpets for free. The female was pushy in her approach and left the area in a dark green van with New York registration.
Police received a report of a possible low a low hanging wire on Olive Avenue. Officer’s were unable to locate the wire described by the caller.
While on patrol witnessed a black Ford Taurus driving recklessly at the intersection of Railroad Ave. and Liberty Blvd. Â After witnessing this officers pulled the vehicle over on McClure St. Â While investigating the incident further police found that the female driver was highly intoxicated. Â The female was placed under arrest for Driving Under the Influence. Â She was placed into the Clearfield County Jail where she is awaiting arraignment.
Clearfield Borough
- Police responded to East Locust Street for a male that was knocking on doors. Police searched the area and was unable to locate the individual.
- Police handled a parking complaint along Boyer Avenue.
- Police responded to Turnpike Avenue for a minor accident where a vehicle struck a yellow barrier. No injuries were reported and the vehicle could be driven from the scene.
- Police report that items were damaged at a business along Park Avenue.
- Police report that several businesses were victims of criminal mischief where items were damaged.
- Police responded to N. 2nd Street and Bridge Street for a vehicle accident. Police report that a vehicle was rear ended by another vehicle causing heavy damage and injuries.
- Police handled an incident of harassment.
- Police responded to East 8th Street for damage that was done to a vehicle.
- Police were called to assist EMS along Dorey Street, but were canceled while responding.
- Police responded to the driving park for people yelling in the grandstand area. Police responded and spoke to the parties involved.
 Lawrence Township
- Police received a report of a possible theft from a mailbox on Bowman’s Hill Road. The incident is under investigation.
- Police received a report of a found bike.
- Police responded to a single vehicle accident at the intersection of Firetower Road and SR 879.
- Police responded to a report of a possible DUI on Grice Road and Little Clearfield Creek.
- Police investigated a burning complaint on Turnpike Avenue. Officers asked the residents to put the fire out.
- Police assisted a motorist at the intersection of SR 879 and Wolf Run.
- Police located a suspicious vehicle on Chester Street.
- Police responded to a report of loitering and prowling on Spring Street.
- Police located a suspicious vehicle parked at a business on Washington Avenue.
 Sandy Township
- Police responded to an accident at the Slab Run and Rich Highway Intersection.  A 71 year old Brockway man had not realized the light had turned green and was stopped when a vehicle driven by a 39 year old Brockway man rear ended him. No injuries and minor damage reported.
- Police charged a 16 year old Reynoldsville girl was charged with retail theft after Walmart employees witnessed her trying to take $99.57 worth of merchandise without paying.
- Police responded to an incident at Treasure Lake where a 19 year old employee lost control of the golf cart he was driving causing it to turn over pinning the driver and his 17 year old passenger. Neither boy was injured.
- Police are investigating an incident where a S. 8th Street resident reported a light- colored Chevy Suburban drover through his yard causing considerable damage. Investigation continues.
- Police received a report from a 57 year old DuBois man who reported receiving a phone call that appeared on his caller ID as David Welke. The caller told the man his computer company was going out of business and he needed all of his personal information to issue him a rebate. The DuBois man recognized the call as a scam and did not provide any information.
- Police responded to an Oklahoma Salem Road residence for a reported domestic dispute. A 47 year old woman told officers she and her 57 year old husband got into an argument and he threatened her. He then fled the residence prior to officer’s arrival. The situation was handled without incident.
- Police responded to a Northwood Avenue resident reported his 44 year old girlfriend took his vehicle without permission. The vehicle was back upon officer’s arrival, and the woman denied taking it. Both parties had been drinking, and officers handled the situation without incident.
