BROOKVILLE – A 20-year-old Williamsport man, Sharif A. Coleman, is facing multiple drug charges after a traffic stop Wednesday on Interstate 80 in Brookville Borough, reported the state police at DuBois.
According to the report, Coleman was allegedly stopped for a summary traffic violation. During the stop, state police found probable cause to search Coleman’s vehicle.
During the search, state police allegedly located approximately three pounds of suspected marijuana and several items of drug paraphernalia in Coleman’s vehicle.
Coleman was subsequently taken into custody on charges for multiple drug violations. He was arraigned and lodged in the Jefferson County Jail in lieu of $50,000 straight bail.
