– Police reported a drug arrest at 2:40 p.m. Monday in Pine Creek Township, Jefferson County. A 23-year-old Delaware, OH man was stopped for a traffic violation along Interstate 80 eastbound at mile marker 86. As a result of the stop, troopers requested consent to search the man’s 2010 Toyota Prius. They said their search uncovered approximately 12 grams of marijuana and paraphernalia. Charges will be filed in Brookville District Court.
– Police reported an incident of theft that occurred sometime between 5:30 p.m. Monday and 6:30 a.m. Tuesday in Decatur Township, Clearfield County. Several large garbage bags, which were full of aluminum cans, were removed from the rear of the Cen-Clear Child Services, Inc. property. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Clearfield State Police at 814-857-3800.
