Margaret L. Smeal, 83, of Woodland died Thursday, April 30, 2015 at the Mountain Laurel Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield.
She was born May 22, 1931 in Woodland, the daughter of Ray and Elsie (Moore) Turner. She retired from McGregor’s in 1972.
She was a member of the Lake Street United Methodist Church of Woodland.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Smeal was the last member of her generation. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John L. Smeal on Aug. 4, 1993; four brothers, Robert, Blair, Raymond and Jack Turner; and two sisters, Twila Fisher and Iona English.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday at the Bennett & Houser Funeral Home Inc., Clearfield, with Pastor Sean Patrick Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Bradford Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
