State police at Philipsburg
- State police investigated the natural death of a 58-year-old Julian man that occurred sometime between 10 a.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Wednesday in Huston Township.
- A hit-and-run accident occurred Monday on Sleepy Hollow Road in Rush Township. A Lincoln Navigator sideswiped a vehicle operated by Jonathan C. Coyne of Philipsburg. Coyne and his passenger told state police that both vehicles stopped, and the Navigator’s operator, an unknown male, asked if there was any damage. State police said the male was advised of damage to the mirror; the male replied there wasn’t any damage to his vehicle and left the scene.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about an alleged theft incident. Police determined that it involved personal property and was civil in nature.
- Police received a report about an alleged illegal dumping incident in the Glen Richey area.
- Police received a report about an alleged domestic dispute that occurred in the Glen Richey area. Police handled the incident at the scene.
- Police assisted a motorist who was having a medical emergency.
Curwensville Borough
- Police received a report about an alleged scam in which a resident received notification by mail that she was a winner of a large cash prize. She was also required to send a monetary fee to claim it. Police would like to warn residents that this is a scam.
- Police received a barking dog complaint that occurred in the area of Anderson Street. It was referred to the animal control officer.
