CLEARFIELD – The Lawrence Township Police Department announced that a juvenile from Grampian will be charged for reprotedly starting a trailer fire in Hyde over the weekend.
According to the report a man and woman were on their way home when they noticed the fire at the vacant trailer on Cindy Lane. The man exited his truck and began throwing snow through an open window in an attempt to extinguish the flames. Police stated that the man was able to extinguish the fire by those means. While he was doing that his girlfriend called 911.
Officers arrived, began their investigation and found that a juvenile from Grampian was responsible for the fire. Charges are pending through the juvenile probation department. According to the police department the investigation into the fire is ongoing.
