CLEARFIELD – Interstate 80 eastbound between mile marker 117 and the Clearfield /120 exit is restricted to one lane today. The restriction is necessary in order to perform clean up from Wednesday’s multiple-vehicle crash.
Drivers will find the right (travel) lane closed. The left (passing) lane will remain open. Due to potential backlog, motorists need to remain alert for stopped or slowed traffic from the DuBois/101 exit through the Clearfield/120 exit. Back-ups may be lengthy and motorists should expect delays. This work could continue into next week.
On Saturday, February 13, drivers will find the left (passing) lane at mile-marker 116 closed for crash debris removal. The right (travel) lane will remain open. Back-ups may be lengthy and motorists should expect delays.
Information on the restriction and travel delays is available on the Highway Advisory Radio System at 1640 on the AM dial. Message boards are also in place to advise motorists to the restriction.
