Lelia Maude Rowles, 68, of Olanta died Friday, March 6, 2015 at her residence.
Born Oct. 11, 1946 in Pike Township, Clearfield County, she was the daughter of Franklin Boyd and Sara Elsie (Kline) Rowles.
She had first worked for the former Whitman’s Drug Store. She later had worked for the former Leitzinger’s Department Store in Clearfield until her retirement.
Surviving are a brother, Raymond Boyd Rowles and his wife, Mary of Brockport and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Catherine Gearhart, Dorothy Rowles and Alberta Nelson and three brothers LeRoy, Bruce and Perry Rowles.
Funeral services for Miss Rowles will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home Inc. of Curwensville with the Rev. Stephen Shields officiating. Burial will be in the Bloomington Cemetery, Curwensville.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 12 p.m. Wednesday until time of services at the funeral home.
