Daniel L. Bratton, 49, of Chester Hill and formerly of Hawk Run, died Friday, Feb. 27, 2015 in Morris Township.
Born Jan. 13, 1966 at Philipsburg, he was a son of Willard D. Bratton of Philipsburg and the late Donna L. (Kasnick) Bratton.
He was a member of the Chapel of the Good Shepherd, Hawk Run, and the Loyal Order of the Moose. He enjoyed bass fishing, hunting and playing the guitar.
He was a 1983 graduate of West Branch High School. He was also a graduate of Triangle Tech. He was currently a welding instructor at Triangle Tech and a welder at Reich Drilling, Philipsburg.
On Oct. 31, 2013 at Kylertown, he married the former Elaine Lucas, who survives.
He is survived by two sons, Joshua Chambers of Florida and Daniel Bratton of Alabama and two daughters, Jalee Chambers and Julia Franklin, both of Alabama.
He is survived by three step-daughters, Sami Durachko, Brittanie Lewis and Toni Lewis, all of Philipsburg; a sister, Diane Wesesky and her husband, Christopher of Philipsburg; and two brothers, Joseph Bratton of Hawk Run and Jason Bratton and his wife, Kimberly of Philipsburg.
He is also survived by five nieces and nephews; four step-grandchildren; and his former wife Jennifer of Alabama.
He was preceded in death by his mother on June 12, 2010; his maternal grandparents, Joseph and Ruth (Wilson) Kasnick and paternal grandparents, Lloyd and Mary (Robbins) Bratton.
A memorial service will be held at a later date and time, which will be announced. Burial will be in the Ashcroft Cemetery, Hawk Run.
