Susan (Collenich) Priest, 91, of Port Orange, Fla., and formerly of Smithmill, died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2015 at Port Orange, Fla.
Born Nov. 18, 1923 in the village of Fernwood near Smithmill, she was the daughter of the late Harry (Collenich) Kulynych and Mary (Pohlid) Kulynych.
She was a parishioner of Holy Dormition Byzantine Catholic Church, Ormond
Beach, Fla., where she was a beloved member of the church.
She is survived by one sister, Irene Fisher and her husband, Bill of Pittsburgh and two brothers, Charles Kulynych and his wife, Shirley of Thomasville and George Kulynych and his wife, Betty of Knoxville, Tenn.
She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, all who loved her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by nine siblings, Anna Sass, Helen Summers, Mary Gabriel, Katherine Onody and Petro Kulynych, an infant sister and three infant brothers.
Friends will be received from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Kruise-Spewock Funeral & Cremation Services Inc., Ramey.
A Parastas services will be sung at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home with Fr. Anthony Balistreri.
A Panikhida Service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, Ramey, with Fr. Anthony Balistreri officiating.
Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Ramey, next to her parents.
