CURWENSVILLE – Allen Leigey, Curwensville Area High School athletic director, announced that the Golden Tide wrestling team will wrestle a doubleheader Wednesday night at Curwensville’s Patton Hall.
The Tide will open the night up with a junior high match at 4:30 pm against Cameron County. After the junior high meet, the two varsity squads, the Golden Tide and Red Raiders, will take to the mat.
When the Curwensville and Cameron County match is concluded, the Golden Tide will then wrestle against Moshannon Valley, varsity only. The match had been scheduled for Monday, but due to the snow storm the two teams postponed until Wednesday.
Both matches will be broadcast live on WOKW-FM, 102.9, starting with the pre-game show at approximately 6 pm.
