State police at Clearfield
- An incident of simple assault occurred Wednesday on Kirk Street in Ferguson Township. During the incident, a 40-year-old Curwensville man and the victim engaged in a verbal confrontation. The man allegedly struck the victim several times in the head, causing injury. He then fled the scene prior to the arrival of state police. Charges were filed through the district court, state police said.
- An incident of criminal mischief occurred Monday on Main Street in Ramey Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly damaged a wooden Christmas ornament, causing approximately $20 worth of damages. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the state police at Clearfield at 814-857-3800.
State police at Philipsburg
- An incident of theft occurred sometime Friday or Saturday on Phoenix Road in Rush Township. During the incident, someone allegedly stole 54 prescribed Oxycodone pills from the victim. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Philipsburg at 814-342-3370.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about a hold-up alarm at the Timberland Federal Credit Union. Upon arrival police found everything to be OK.
- Police received a report about a panic alarm at a business on Route 879. Upon arrival police found that the alarm had been accidentally activated.
- Curwensville Borough police and the Pennsylvania State Parole were assisted in locating someone in the Curwensville area.
- Police received a noise complaint at the Economy Inn. Charges are currently pending at this time, police said.
DuBois City
- Police received a report about an alarm Monday at the United Way on South Jared Street. Upon arrival police found everything to be OK.
- On Monday, someone smashed the rear window out of a 2004 Jeep Wrangler that was parked behind a business in the 200 block of West Long Avenue. The incident remains under investigation at this time, police said.
- Police received a report about a domestic dispute involving a 45-year-old DuBois woman and her 24-year-old son Monday in the 300 block of Quarry Avenue. Both had allegedly been consuming alcohol and the son became upset, at which time he ripped an interior door off of its hinges. The woman didn’t want any charges filed against him, police said.
Sandy Township
- On Monday, an 83-year-old Reynoldsville woman reported that she was traveling too fast on Dixon Avenue and her vehicle began riding the curb. This caused the tires to blow out and the wheels become damaged, she said. No injuries were reported, and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
- A Time to Bid Road resident reported a vehicle parked in a driveway and its operator played loud music on Monday. However, the music stopped prior to police arrival.
- On Tuesday, police were called to a Euclid Avenue residence where a 26-year-old man was allegedly being violent and threatening to harm himself. The man was cooperative with police and agreed to be transported to Penn Highlands for an evaluation.
