Fanecia A. “Fannie” Adamson, 84, of Clearfield died Thursday, Jan. 15, 2014 at the Mountain Laurel Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Adamson was born Nov. 2, 1930 in Curwensville, the daughter of Vincent and Elda (Carfley) Violanti.
She retired from the Clearfield Hospital as a registered nurse after 25 years of service.
Mrs. Adamson was a member of the St. Francis Roman Catholic Church.
She is survived by four children, Scott Adamson and his wife, Linda of Dover, Del., Sandra Bolte and her husband, George of Las Cruces, NM, Mary Ann Adamson of Littleton, Colo., and Karen Fulton of Curwensville.
She is survived by six grandchildren, Steven and Nathan Adamson, John Schneider, Brian Fulton and his wife, Robin, Aaron Fulton and Randy Fulton and his wife, Brittany; two great-grandchildren, Olivia and Madison Fulton; and a son-in-law, Bill Fulton.
Mrs. Adamson was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George H. “China” Adamson, whom died Oct. 15, 2000; an infant son, Randy; a sister, Teresa Rebsamen; and a brother, Joe Violanti.
Honoring Mrs. Adamson’s wishes, there will be no public visitation or services.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 110 W. 10th St., Suite 212, Erie, PA 16501.
