Beverly L. Neeper, 80, of Curwensville died Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2015 at Ridgeview Elder Care Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Curwensville.
Born Dec. 10, 1934, she was the daughter of Clarence T. and Thelma Elvena (Dunlap) Wise.
Mrs. Neeper had worked at the former Kantar’s Store in Curwensville. She was retired from the former Clearfield Cheese Co. in Curwensville.
She was a member of the Curwensville First Baptist Church in Curwensville. She was also a member of the Susquehanna Campers Association and a former Girl Scout Leader. She enjoyed crocheting.
On March 28, 1953 in Curwensville, she wed Blair Dorsey Neeper, who preceded her in death on Sept. 28, 1993.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Ruth Uncles; and her brothers, Wayne and Gene Wise. She was the last member of her generation.
Surviving are two daughters, Deborah Ann Nelson and her husband, Kim of Clearfield and Brenda Lee Brubaker and her husband, Robert of Brockway. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Andrew and Matthew Nelson and Eric Brubaker and three great-grandchildren, Anderson and Autumn Nelson and Jackson Brubaker.
Funeral services for Mrs. Neeper will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Curwensville First Baptist Church, Susquehanna Avenue, Curwensville, with the Rev. Daniel M. Osterhout officiating. Burial will be in the Crown Crest Memorial Park in Hyde.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. Friday at the church.
