Frances Milliron Liner died peacefully in her sleep Thursday, Dec. 11, 2014. Mrs. Liner was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother whose life was guided by her deep Christian faith and filled with her devotion to and love for her family.
Mrs. Liner was born in Clearfield on Sept. 3, 1924 to the late Luther and Arlene Milliron. She was married for 63 years to Gordon Liner of Cedar Grove, NC, who preceded her in death in 2007.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Wesley (Bud) of Snow Shoe, James (Jim) of Carlisle and Fredrick of Coudersport; two sisters, Dorothy (Dody) Dungey and Mary-Beth Monroe, both of DuBois, and one son, Keith Gordon Liner of Hillsborough, NC.
Mrs. Liner is survived by two sons, Chip Liner of Cedar Grove, NC and Johnny Liner of Kernersville, NC and one sister, Marian (Molly) Sprague of DuBois. Also surviving Mrs. Liner are six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A committal service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 19, 2014 at the Chapel at Morningside Cemetery in DuBois.
Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
