State police at Clearfield
- An accident occurred Wednesday on Interstate 80 eastbound in Bradford Township. Oscar Ocampo of Dumont, NJ and Ramon Orellana-Maldonad of West New York, NJ were traveling in the right-hand lane of I-80. At the time, Orellana-Maldonad was traveling at a reduced speed in his Volvo VNL, which had its flashing hazard lights on. Ocampo was approaching in his freightliner when he failed to observe Orellana-Maldonad’s unit ahead of him. Ocampo subsequently rear-ended the Orellana-Maldonad trailer unit and both traveled a short distance before coming to a rest and blocking the right-hand lane. Ocampo sustained moderate injuries and was flown from the scene for medical treatment. Ocampo was cited for the accident.
State police at DuBois
- On Tuesday, an investigation resulted in the arrest of Kenneth Ray Frye, 41, of Reynoldsville for being a fugitive from justice. He was lodged in the Jefferson County Jail to await extradition to Tennessee.
Clearfield Borough
- Police responded to the area of Turnpike Avenue for a male who had allegedly left the hospital after being transported there by another police department. Police made contact with the male and transported him back to the hospital for treatment.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of theft.
- Police received a report about an alleged disturbance between a mother and son on Clearfield Street. Further, the adult son left the residence prior to police arrival at the scene.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment by communications.
- Police stopped a vehicle along West Fifth Avenue for a traffic violation. Further, police found that the passenger had active warrants for his arrest.
- Police responded to a hit-and-run accident at an establishment along South Third Street. Further, the operator of a black sports utility vehicle was pulling from a parking space when the SUV collided with a silver passenger car. The operator of the SUV then fled the scene.
- Police responded to an alleged domestic disturbance on Spruce Street. Further, police handled the incident at the scene.

- Police have initiated an investigation into the alleged theft of U.S. Currency from a purse at a department store at the Clearfield Mall.
- Police have initiated an investigation into the alleged theft of a newspaper from a resident at the Lawrence Park Village Apartments.
