DUBOIS – The community is invited to attend a spaghetti dinner to benefit THON, the Penn State Dance Marathon.
The dinner is planned for 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Dec. 10, in the Student Union at Penn State DuBois. The cost is $5 per person and $4 for students.
All proceeds from THON directly benefit the Four Diamonds Fund, an organization dedicated to battling childhood cancer. Students from across all of Penn State work in numerous ways to raise money for the cause, holding the dance marathon at the end of a long fundraising season.
This year, THON is scheduled for Feb. 20–22, at the Bryce Jordan Center, where dancers will attempt to stay on their feet for 46 hours.
