CLEARFIELD – Joseph B. Bower Jr., president and chief executive officer of CNB Bank, recently announced the promotion of Lesa McElwee to the position of Community Office Manager II.
In this position, McElwee’s primary responsibilities will be to develop and maintain consumer loan and deposit relationships, as well as manage overall daily operations of the bank’s main office, located at 31 S. Second St., downtown Clearfield.
McElwee joined CNB Bank in 1977 and has advanced through several positions and gained knowledge in the areas of data processing, item processing, customer information systems, deposit operations and as customer service representative. McElwee was promoted to Community Office Manager in 2009.
“Lesa has a rapport with customers and co-workers,” said Bower. “Her dedication continues to focus on and fulfill the financial needs of her customers. The community of Clearfield is important to CNB and we’re proud to offer the residents here such a valuable resource for their financial needs.”
A native of Clearfield, McElwee is a 1977 graduate of the Clearfield Area High School. She has since continued her banking education by earning three banking diplomas from the American Banker’s Association to include General Banking, Bank Operations and Personal Banking, as well as certificates in Customer Service and Supervision.
McElwee volunteers her time with Habitat for Humanity and the Clearfield County Chapter of the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, as well as various other community projects. She attends Glad Tidings Assembly of God and resides in Clearfield with her husband, John.
