RuthAnn Swatsworth, 68, of Clearfield died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2014 at the Penn Highlands DuBois. She was born May 10, 1946 in Columbia.
She was employed at McDonald’s at both the downtown and Interstate locations in Clearfield. She also traveled with her husband, Dennis, while he drove truck for a living.
She was Christian by faith. She was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie Auxiliary Post No. 812, Clearfield.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis J. Swatsworth of Clearfield and five children, Richard Allen Thompson and his wife, Karen of Harrington, Del., Michael Heath Thompson of South Haven, Miss., Karen Nice of Maryland and Bryan Scott Evans and Robert Shawn Evans, both of Clearfield.
She is also survived by nine grandchildren; three sisters, Jackie of Milford, Del., Laurie Ellingsworth of Clearfield and Esther Herman of Fairfield, Calif.; and an aunt, Audrey Nau of Columbia.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her uncle, Sarge Kennedy.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Kevin A Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield, with the Rev. Sam Maines officiating. Burial will follow in the Bloomington Cemetery, Curwensville.
Friends will be received 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
