CLEARFIELD – Charges have been filed against a Clearfield man for failing to comply with sexual offender registration requirements, according to District Attorney William A. Shaw Jr.
Shaw identified the defendant as Henry Lee Cutler, 24, of Smith Street, Clearfield. On Nov. 11, Sgt. Greg Neeper of the Clearfield Borough Police Department filed a criminal complaint, charging Cutler with failure to comply with registration requirements.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, the Megan’s Law section of the Pennsylvania State Police sent an investigation request to the Clearfield Borough police to verify the residence and location of Cutler. On Nov. 3, officers went to the Smith Street address that Cutler had registered and determined it had been vacated. Police also determined that Cutler was not living at the residence.
On Nov. 10, officers made phone contact with Cutler and directed him to appear for the purpose of registering an address. Cutler has failed to register a new address and his location is unknown.
Shaw indicated that the Clearfield County Crime Stoppers will offer a reward for information leading to the arrest of Cutler.
Cutler is described as a Caucasian male who stands 5 feet, 8 inches tall. He has blue eyes and brown hair.
