RUSH TOWNSHIP – A 47-year-old Osceola Mills man, Todd Hamilton, has been accused of recklessly endangering another person and lodged in the Centre County Jail, according to state police at Philipsburg.
On Sept. 1-2, Hamilton and the victims were in a field near the 500 block of Sleepy Hollow Road in Rush Township. Hamilton was allegedly under the influence of bath salts and acted “bizarre,” state police said.
At some point, Hamilton allegedly retrieved his semi-automatic, .22-caliber rifle and started firing in all directions. The victims fled the area unharmed, state police said.
Hamilton was arrested and described by state police as “dazed” in “just shorts and one sneaker” on Sleepy Hollow Road. He was lodged in the Centre County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.
