Spikes edge closer to top of NYPL with victory

Danny Diekroeger set a new State College Spikes record by stretching his hitting streak to 19 games, and the Spikes edged to within two games of the New York-Penn League’s best record with a 4-3 victory over the Mahoning Valley Scrappers on Monday night at Eastwood Field.
