CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield County Commissioners are seeking application letters from individuals interested in serving on the Curwensville Lake Authority.
The authority is responsible for overseeing the management and development of the Curwensville Lake recreation area. Authority meetings are held on a monthly basis on the second Wednesday of the month.
Individuals applying should have a general understanding of the lake and the various amenities offered to the people who utilize the facility. Letters should be submitted by Aug. 29 to the attention of the Clearfield County Commissioners, 212 E. Locust St., Suite 112, Clearfield, PA 16830.
The opening on the board was created due to the resignation of Aaron Evans, who served on the board since its inception in 2009. The commissioners thank Evans for his service on the authority board and appreciate his leadership in completing many projects, including the dog park, the campground cabins and overseeing the sound fiscal management of the facility.
