HYDE – Officials with the Clearfield Area School District have announced upcoming orientation, open house and school building dedication events.
Orientation will be held on Aug. 21 for incoming students at the Clearfield Area Junior-Senior High School. Seventh and eighth graders will have orientation at 6:30 p.m. Ninth graders will have their orientation at 7:30 p.m.
Both orientation programs will be held in the auditorium. Both will be followed by a tour of the junior-senior high school.
Open houses will be held for Clearfield Area Elementary School students. The open houses will be Aug. 14 for the fourth through sixth grades; Aug. 19 for the first through third grades; and Aug. 20 for kindergarten. Open houses will begin at 6:30 p.m.
A dedication of the CAJSHS will be held on Aug. 18. A reception will begin at 5 p.m. with the official dedication at 5:30 p.m. Afterward the CAJSHS will be open for self-guided tours. The first August school board meeting will be held at 6 p.m. at the junior-senior high school.
A dedication of the CAES will be held Aug. 25. A reception will begin at 5 p.m. with the official dedication at 5:30 p.m. The CAES will be open for self-guided tours after the dedication. The second August school board meeting will be held at 6 p.m. at the CAES.
All future Clearfield school board meetings will be held at 6 p.m. at the CAJSHS. The board will have meetings on Sept. 15 and Sept. 22; Oct. 20 and Oct. 27; Nov. 17; and Dec. 3.
