John William Clark, 76, of Grampian died Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at his home with his family at his side.
Born Sept. 7, 1937 in Greenwood Township, he was the son of the late George and Lula (Anderson) Clark.
On May 24, 1958 in the Bible Fellowship Church, he married Alice (Weber) Clark. She survives.
Mr. Clark moved to Glens Falls, NY in 1958 and returned home in 1980, where he worked at various coal mines as a dragline operator. After working in the coal business, he founded and operated Clark’s Cleaning Company for many years.
He loved his family and was a hard worker who had a great sense of humor and who enjoyed helping others. He loved to go camping and host various campgrounds. He especially enjoyed sitting on his deck in the mornings.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in DuBois. He will be sadly missed by his wife, family and friends; he was so witty and made everyone laugh.
