Daityn Rothrock, a local musician who is active in the Christian music scene, will perform at the Corner Concert Series on Friday.
Rothrock describes himself as acoustic, pop-rock and he plays a variety of modern and classic tunes. His performance will begin at 7 p.m. in the Shaw Park.
This summer, the Corner Concerts are to support the CAST Theatre and the local musical artists. The concerts are free but donations will be accepted.

16th Annual Coalport Street Fair

CAST Tour de Parks
Bike Ride and 7K

Riders will have their choice of four ride options: five, 15, 22 or 35 miles through beautiful, wooded areas and entirely on paved and dirt roads in the beautiful S.B. Elliott and Parker Dam State Parks.
The 7k (4.5 Miles) participants will travel the same basic path as the shortest bike ride. All routes are well-marked with manned rest stops along the way. Maps will be available for all participants the day of the event.
When the riders/walkers return, they will enjoy a picnic meal before heading home. Check-in opens at 11:30 a.m. on ride day at the pavilion at S.B. Elliot State Park and event participants depart at 1 p.m.
Helmets must be worn by all riders and all riders who are under 15 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
Interested participants can download a registration form from the CAST Web site, www.castbuilding.com, or call 814-765-4474. A form can be mailed to you or you can stop in the CAST office. The registration fee is $20.

The event is open to all businesses, municipalities, social clubs, volunteers and interested citizens. It is an opportunity to meet the VCC staff and board of directors.
It will also be an opportunity to network and help each other grow. Anyone with an idea, tourism fats or photographs can share them; there will be an information center available.
Individuals can share information about their businesses, organizations and events, as well as learn about becoming a VCC partner or applying for its grant/funding programs.

Clearfield Writing Community Workshop
