CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield campus of Lock Haven University will host its Campus Beautification and Community Appreciation Day on May 21, beginning at 11:30 a.m. and concluding at 2 p.m.
The community is invited to visit campus and enjoy the afternoon with the staff of LHU Clearfield, as well as other guests. Many activities are planned for the day, including a free lunch provided by Wal-Mart Transportation, Woodland.
From 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. the Shred-it Truck, sponsored in part by CNB Bank, will be on site for collection and shredding of all paper, paperclips, staples, rubber bands, credit cards, folders, etc.
Throughout the day, visitors will be able to visit the animal display from Shaver’s Creek, llamas from Ultimate Alpacas Farm, have free blood pressure screenings from LHU Nursing students, listen to the Clearfield Brass Ensemble, and so much more.
