Autumn J. Watson, 79, of Clearfield died Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at her home.
She was born Oct. 28, 1934 in Penfield, the daughter of James P. and Alice P. (Jones) Burkett.
She had worked at Stackpole in St. Marys. She was the activity director at Clear Haven. She had worked at the cigar plant of Philipsburg and the truck stop of Woodland. She also had been a bookkeeper for small businesses and a homemaker.
She was Protestant by faith.
She belonged to the Shortway CB Club and the Fresh Air Fund for 15 years. She was involved with the Local 8502 Retirement and a photographer for Florida Estates.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Edward Watson of Clearfield, whom she married on May 17, 1975.
She is survived by a daughter, Arnoldine Inlow and her husband, John Jr. of Clearfield; two grandchildren, Lynann Porter and her husband, Matthew and John Inlow III, all of Clearfield; two great-grandchildren, Garrett Porter and Logan Porter; four sisters, Joyce Conklin of Clearfield, Bobbie Mullaney and her husband, James of St. Marys, Aurea Weaver and her husband, Ronald of New Jersey and Linda Scanish of Penfield; a brother, Arnold Burkett and his wife, Patty of Penfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Jane Conklin; a brother, Jimmy Burkett; her first husband, Arnold Fleming; and her second husband, Omer Williams.
Honoring Mrs. Watson’s wishes, there will be no public visitation or services.
