Kelly Ray Matthews, 57, of Olanta, died Friday, April 25, 2014 at his residence.
Born Jan. 17, 1957 in Clearfield, he was the son of Floyd and Lucille (Garlits) Matthews.
He was the owner/operator of Kelly’s Custom Meats in Olanta. He also worked for Goodman’s Foodliner as a meat cutter.
Surviving are two sisters, Carol Gallaher and her husband, Edward of McCartney and Linda London and her husband, Olan of Luthersburg and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his aunt and uncle, Roy and Arlene Mays, with whom he made his home with.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home Inc. of Curwensville, with the Rev. Douglas Turner officiating.
Burial will be in the Bloomington Cemetery, Curwensville.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
