Paul L. Lumley Sr., 77, of Brockway died Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at the Clarion Hospital.
Born July 8, 1936 in Butler, he was the son of the late Earl and Hazel (Emmitt) Lumley.
On Dec. 8, 1997, he married Dorothy (Thomas) Lumley. She preceded him in death in 2005.
He retired from the state Department of Transportation after 22 years of service.
He was an avid hunter.
He’s survived by his son, Paul Lumley Jr. and his wife, Vickie of Butler and his daughters, Judy Fishel and her husband, Dan of Cabot, and Lori Herald and her husband, Ben of East Butler; his step-children, Deborah Johnson of Texas and Fred A. Cole of Indiana; three brothers, Ron Lumley of Natrona Heights, Bob Lumley of Petrolia and Darryl Lumley of Butler; one sister, JoAnne McWilliams of Butler; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Rose (Connolly) Lumley; three brothers, Melvin Lumley, Harry Lumley and Frank Lumley; a sister, Norma Lumley; and a step-son, Stephen L. Cole.
There will be no visitation.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. May 1 at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Felt officiating.
Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
