Roena Jean Luzier, 82, a resident of Mountain Laurel Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Clearfield, and formerly of Clearfield and Curwensville, died Saturday March 1, 2014 at the Clearfield Hospital.
Born Jan. 6, 1932 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of Kenneth and Jessie (Stephens) Parks. Mrs. Luzier was a homemaker and had worked a short time for the former Kents Sportswear in Curwensville.
She had attended the First Baptist Church of Clearfield.
She wed Glenn Edward Luzier, who preceded her in death on Dec. 23, 2009. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Wayne Parks.
Surviving are four children, Kenneth Luzier of DuBois, Kevin Luzier and Beth Irwin and her husband, Pete, both of Clearfield, and Jennifer Faulkner and her husband, Brian of Hyde. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, a sister, Nadine Bagwell of Daytona, Fla. and a brother, Philip Parks and his wife, Margaret of Clearfield.
There will be no public visitation and graveside services will be held at a later date at the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.
