The seminar will take place from 2:30 p.m. – 4 p.m. March 7 at 214 Founders Hall, Clearfield campus.
Three-dimensional printing, or additive manufacturing, that can create an exact version of almost any physical object is proving to be an attractive business opportunity for entrepreneurs. What was once made on a factory floor in large patches can now be churned out through a desktop using technology commonly referred to as a 3D printing. A 3D printer is a limited type of industrial robot that is capable of carrying out an additive process under computer control and has application in many business sectors.
Krish Pillai, LHU professor, will be the guest presenter. Pillai holds a Ph.D. and an MS in Computer Engineering from Southern Methodist University, Dallas TX. To register, please contact Judy Hughes at 814-768-3401 or email jhughes@lhup.edu.
