Robert Lynn Krach Sr., 77, of Reynoldsville joined his loving wife, Helen J. (Clinchoc) Krach, in Heaven on Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014. They were married Sept. 24, 1955, and she preceded him in death March 3, 1996.
He was born Nov. 2, 1936 in DuBois, the son of the late George F. and Grace Krach. He was the director of AMBA and a life member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Middle Ridge Sportsmen’s Club, Army and Navy Service Club and Steel Workers Union. He worked at Krach and Gearhart Coal Company before becoming the co-owner of Krach’s Original Hoagie Shop.
An avid bowler, enthusiastic hunter and fisherman, and a passionate farmer, he’s survived by four sons, Robert L. (Debra) Krach Jr., Gary L. (Denise) Krach, Charles F. Krach and Jeffrey A. (Kimberly) Krach and a daughter, Kathryn L. (James) DeLarme; 11 grandchildren, Dana (Corry) Drake, Robert L. Krach III, Devanie Krach, Gary B. Krach, Lyndi Krach, Joshua L. (Jessica) Krach, Ashley Krach and Hunter Krach Chrissy (Jim) Kramer Jr., Hope (Steven) Druzak and JD (Heidi) DeLarme; 17 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles, Glen and Frank Krach and a son, Douglas Krach.
Friends will be received from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Friday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Msgr. Richard Siefer officiating.
Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
