CLEARFIELD – A Clearfield man accused of indecent assault waived his right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Jerome Nevling during Centralized Court on Wednesday at the Clearfield County Jail.
Clifford Lamonte Green, 19, of Clearfield has been charged with indecent assault; indecent assault (person less than 16 years of age); corruption of minors; and corruption of minors (defendant age 18 or above). His bail has been set at $50,000 monetary.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, on Sept. 30, Lawrence Township police received a report to investigate Green, who had allegedly performed a sex act on himself in the bedroom of one victim. Additionally, he had allegedly inappropriately touched another victim.
During an interview with police, Green admitted that on two occasions, he went into a victim’s bedroom where she was sleeping. He looked at her and performed a sex act on himself. When asked by police, Green admitted he wanted to watch the victim sleep and potentially have sex with her.
On another occasion, Green admitted that he was in the swimming pool and inappropriately touched another victim. When asked by police, Green admitted that he “fantasizes” about children “too often.” Green also admitted to frequently dreaming about children.
On Oct. 1, a female police officer interviewed the one victim. During the interview, the victim recalled the alleged swimming pool incident with Green during which he inappropriately touched her. She also told police that Green told her that he liked her and wanted to date her.
