STATE COLLEGE – The American Red Cross volunteers are assisting three adults and two children who were displaced by a fire Sunday in the 300 block of Lynn Street in Madera, Clearfield County.
The Red Cross assisted the family with food, baby supplies and clothing. Also, the ARC will follow up to determine any additional disaster needs.
You can help people affected by disasters like floods, fires, tornadoes and hurricanes, as well as countless crises at home and around the world, by making a donation to support ARC Disaster Relief. Your gift enables the ARC to prepare for and provide shelter, food, emotional support and other assistance in response to disasters.
You can visit www.redcross.org or call 1-800-RED-CROSS (1-800-733-2767). Contributions may be sent to the American Red Cross, 430 W. Orange St., Lancaster, PA 17603 or to 205 E. Beaver Ave., State College, PA 16801 or any one of the local ARC offices.
The ARC is a humanitarian organization led by volunteers that provides relief to victims of disasters and helps people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies. All ARC disaster assistance is free, made possible by voluntary donations of time and money from caring individuals and, in part, by contributions given through the United Way.
