Gerald G. Caldwell, 91, of Clearfield died Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2014 at the Mountain Laurel Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield.
He was born Jan. 31, 1922, a son of the late Lonnie and Bessie (Brown) Caldwell.
Mr. Caldwell was employed as a painter and janitor at various locations around the Clearfield area.
He was a member of the former Allen AME Church of Clearfield.
He is survived by sister, Evelyn McCoy of Clearfield and a brother, Calvin Caldwell of Harrisburg.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five sisters, Ruth Washington, Lorraine Jeffries, Artis Caldwell, Henrietta Enoch and Vermell Plato and two brothers, Lonnie and James T. Caldwell.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Kevin A Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield, with Pastor Robert F. Henry officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Clearfield.
Friends will be received from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
