ALTOONA – Penn State Altoona will hold several workshops for entrepreneurs, small business owners and students at the Sheetz Center for Entrepreneurial Excellence in downtown Altoona.
Tax and Income Planning Strategies for 2014 and Beyond will be held Jan. 8 and Jan. 15 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., with presenter Jeff Fleming, Esq. of Hippo, Fleming and Pertile Law Offices.
Social Media for Small Business will be held Feb. 12 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. with presenter Jonathan O’Harrow, the webmaster at Penn State Altoona.
Stock Market Basics will be held March 17, March 24 and March 31, 6:45 p.m. – 8:15 p.m., with presenter Robert Belsterling, the instructor in economics, corporate finance and accounting at Penn State Altoona.
Excel Basics will be held April 16 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m., with presenter Deborah Hommer, the senior instructor in business administration at Penn State Altoona.
A consultant from the Small Business Development Center of St. Francis University will be on hand to answer questions pertaining to small business start-ups.
