PennDOT advises that this section of roadway is now open.
CLEARFIELD – PennDOT advises drivers that one lane of Interstate 80 eastbound is closed between Exit 158 (Milesburg) and Exit 161 (Bellefonte).
The interstate was closed earlier today due to an accident. Crews have opened the left (passing) lane. The right (travel) lane remains closed.
PennDOT expects to fully re-open the roadway by 11 a.m.

Drivers can also tune to PennDOT’s Highway Advisory Radio System at 1640 on the AM dial for closure and detour information.
When traveling during a winter storm, drivers should adjust their speed to accommodate for changing weather conditions, including visibility. Winter driving conditions require that motorists allow for a greater following distance between vehicles. Motorists are reminded to always buckle up.
