Jane Mary Kozak, 86, of Easton and formerly of Morrisdale, died Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013 at the Easton Hospital. Born June 2, 1927 in Morrisdale, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Verna Bartko Sotak.
Mrs. Kozak was a member of the St. Jane Roman Catholic Church, Easton. She was a seamstress for the former McGregor Clothing Factory, Philipsburg.
She was married to George J. Kozak on Aug. 12, 1967 at the Sacred Heart Church, New Brunswick. He preceded her in death on March 4, 2005.
Mrs. Kozak is survived by two sisters, Martha Gregus of Cherry Hill, NJ and Lena Tekely of Morrisdale; two brothers, Joseph Sotak and his wife, Patricia of Rochester, NY and Anthony Sotak and his wife, Carmen of San Pedro, Calif.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Albert Sotak.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, Morrisdale, with the Father Robert J. Horgas as celebrant. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends will be received from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Strange & Weaver Funeral Service, Morrisdale. The Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
