CLEARFIELD – “A Time for Justice: Combating Elder Abuse in Clearfield County” was the topic of a recent informative seminar held at Lock Haven University Clearfield.
Despite the weather, the seminar was well attended by local service providers, county residents and local officials. Attendees learned how to protect and prevent Clearfield County older adults and those with disabilities from abuse and exploitation.
By joining with experts from across the state and local leaders, abuse was brought out of the shadows into a position where it can be stopped and prevented.
