Helen A. Patterson Dinant, 91, of Philipsburg and formerly of Osceola Mills, died Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013 at Windy Hill Village in Philipsburg.
She was the daughter of the late William F. and Florence E. (Hartman) Krause, born April 25, 1922 in Osceola Mills. She was married to Chester Patterson, who preceded her in death on July 7, 1968 and then to Raymond C. Dinant, who preceded her in death on Dec. 15, 1993.
Mrs. Dinant was a member of the Abundant Life Fellowship Church in Philipsburg. She retired from Charles Navasky & Co. in Philipsburg.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter; a sister, Betty Miles; and four brothers, Wesley Krause, W.D. Krause, James Krause and John Krause.
Mrs. Dinant is survived by three daughters, Beverly McQueeney and her husband, Charles of Mission Viejo, Calif., Annetta McKechnie and her husband, Rendall of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. and Joyce Schnars and her husband Lynn of Naples, Fla.; two sisters, Jean Hamer and her husband, Walter of York and Kathryn Ross of Wilmington, DE; two brothers, Harry Krause and his wife, Lyda of Texarkana, AK and Roger Krause and his wife, Marie of West Decatur; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Heath Funeral Home in Osceola Mills, with the Rev. W. Dean Krause officiating. Burial will be at the Philipsburg Cemetery in Philipsburg.
Friends will be received from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Sunday and from 12 p.m. until the time of the funeral service Monday at the funeral home.
