Betsy K. Picard, 55, of Winburne died Monday, Nov. 18, 2013 at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
She was the daughter of the late Theodore F. Perks Sr. and Geraldine E. (Droll) Perks, born Oct. 20, 1958 in Philipsburg. She married Bradley S. Picard on Aug. 11, 1979 in Winburne. He survives at home.
Mrs. Picard was of the Christian faith. She was the co-owner of Dust Busters Cleaning Service in Winburne and a 1976 graduate of the Philipsburg-Osceola High School.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Picard is survived by a daughter, Nicole D. Picard and her fiancé, Doug Belgin of Winburne; three sisters, Deborah D. Perks of Philipsburg, Tammy L. Moriarity and her husband, Tim of Winburne and Sherry A. Bowman and her husband, Mark of West Decatur; three brothers, Larry R. Perks and his companion, Cindy Greenwalt of West Decatur, Dennis R. Perks and his wife, Germaine of Harrisburg and Theodore F. Perks Jr. and his wife, Deborah of Allport; and a grandson, Gunner Michael Belgin of Winburne.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Forest Baptist Church in (Forest) Winburne, with Pastor Sue Radel officiating.
There will be no viewing or visitation.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Heath Funeral Home in Osceola Mills.
