HARRISBURG – The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board has announced the results of the “Pinktober” campaign to support the Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition. From Sept. 30 – Oct. 27, a total of 8,964 cases were sold of the following wines:
- Korbel Sweet Rose, 750 mL, 186 cases
- Sutter Home Pink Moscato, 750 mL, 1,563 cases
- Sutter Home White Merlot, 1.5 L, 2,922 cases
- Beringer White Zinfandel, 750 mL, 1,644 cases
- Beringer White Zinfandel Moscato, 1.5 L, 569 cases
- Barefoot White Zinfandel, 1.5 L, 1,890 cases
- Ménage à Trois Rosé, 189 cases
Trinchero Family Estates, Treasury Wine Estates, Korbel Winery and Barefoot Wines donated $1 for every case sold to the Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition bringing the total donation amount to $8,964. The funds will be used to support programs and services that better the lives of both newly-diagnosed women and those who have battled breast cancer for years.
The Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition is a statewide, non-profit celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2013. The organization represents, supports and serves breast cancer survivors and their families in Pennsylvania through educational programming, legislative advocacy and breast cancer research grants. For more information on the PA Breast Cancer Coalition please visitwww.pabreastcancer.org.
