Police Report: DuBois City

The investigation is continuing into an incident of burglary that occurred Monday on Beaver Drive. Upon arrival the victim showed police where someone had smashed a window to an office. Further, the victim told police items were missing from inside.
The investigation is continuing into an incident of theft from a motor vehicle that occurred Monday on South Highland Street. The victim told police that someone stole items from his vehicle overnight.
The investigation is continuing into an alleged assault that occurred Monday in the 100 block of Spring Avenue. Upon arrival the victim told police that he heard someone break the window in the door to his residence. He went outside and confronted a Caucasian male who allegedly knocked him to the ground and started to punch him in the face. The victim, police said, had multiple injuries to his face. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the DuBois City police.
