SYKESVILLE – A Sykesville man has been charged with terroristic threats and harassment and lodged in the Jefferson County Jail after an alleged incident at a Sykes Street residence on Monday.
During the alleged incident, the man and the victim engaged in a verbal argument. The victim barricaded himself in an upstairs apartment, and the man attempted to break in the door by hitting it repeatedly with a wooden kitchen chair.
In addition, the man allegedly threatened to start a fire in the living room downstairs. He allegedly told the victim he would burn down the residence with him still inside.
